CHURCH UNION.
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright,
Sydney; June 1. The Rev. Prior Vaugbati, who is on a visit to Sydney in connection with his 'mission for improving the condition of the masses, in the course of an interview referring to the proposed union of the Roman and Anglican Churches, said it was undoubtedly the sincere deaire of a large number of Anglicans to reunite with Rome, who, like a- tender mother, invited her children to return; but it was a. mistake to think for a moment that she was going* to abandon her majestic, timehonoured throne and shake hands all round with every sect and denomination.
