THE BODIES OF TWO INFANTS DUG. UP. \; A WOMAN ARRESTED. ~ ' Invercargill, May 9. At Winton to-day Minnie Dean, wife of Charles Dean, was arrested: on a charge of having, on or about the 3rd inst., murdered:an infant named Eva Horusby. She was brought before the justices and remanded to the 16uh lust, to appear at Milton, Ofcaco. The arrest; was made by Detectives M'Grath (cf Dunedin) and Herbtrb. Accused has for several years made a business of keeping infants, and was oncebefore the court on a charge of neglecting several children under her ,care, but was then acquitted. The police'are reticent; as to the a j _° f the Present charge, but it is understood that the infant was about a month old.
