Heavy applications arc being mide in L mdon for the United States loan at 4 per cent, premium. Washing on, February 20. A syndicate deposited 30 million dollaih of gold, which checked the run on the Treasury, which was tvithih a day of depletion; A New York syndicate have applied for a double amount of new bonds.
February 21. The Free Silver Bill has been withdrawn iu the Senate.
Tne American loan was subscribed tenfold in New York within 10 minutes.
