Inveucakgii.l, February 20. The J. G. Ward Farmers' As*ociatiou report having held their for'nightly sale at the liivercarKill y;vrd3 on Tuesday. The entry of fat stock in nil classes was extra large, but several graziers bought a (rood number of fat, or uoarly fat, to hold over for turnips. The prices were in favour of buyers, best bullocks rouging from £7 10* to £7 ; medium, £510s to £S 10s ; cows and heiferß (light-weights), from £4 15s to £5 10s. Store cattle : A fair entry, mostly yearlings and two-year-old", for which there was » fair demand at£2 8s Cd to £3; calves, £1 to £153 ; grown steers ami heifers, £3 to £4 10s. Fat Sheep.—As must always be expected at this season of the year, there was a heavy entry of ewes, which were well up in. years; anil, although for the greater part heavy weights, the demand was limited, aud after the first few pens were disposed of at tis to 7fi, the balanco was almost unsaleable—good youug sheep (two and four-tooth) brought for a few very special pens up to S.i (id ; medium, (is to 7s ; lambs lit for freezing, 6s (id to Ss ; store lambs, 3a to ss.
