AQUATICS.
Thfl weakly meeting of the Ofcago Rowing Association was held last evening, when thsre was a large attendance of delegates. A good deal of routine bnsiness in connection with the forthcoming regatta on February 2 was transacted, the principal matters of interest being the decision that all the races should bo two miles, starting and finishing at the flagship. For the benefit of. spectators it was decided that the bow man in each boat shall carry a distinguishing number, to be placed on the back of his jersey, similar to those in use at other athletic sports. Tho Otago Rowing Club's Ladies' Challenge Cap will be rowed ofi at the Ofcago Bowing Association's Regatta on 2nd February. Keeu interest i$ always token in this event both by the members and their lady friends. The crews are well selected, and close finishes should ba the result. Appended are the names of the crews:— P.
