The Dunedin Naval Artillery sent a team to Lyttelton to fire a match »gainat a team from the Lyttelton Navals on Boxing Day morning. Tha conditions of tho match were originally intended to ba 10 shots at each 200 and 400 yards, but time would only allow of 10 shots at 200 yards and fi?o at 400 yards. The Dunedin men were hospitably entertained. Chief Pefcty-officar Toomey and Lieutenant Joyce descr?e great praise for the troubls they put themselves to to make the trip enjoyable. The annual shooting match between the Canterbury and Duuedin Engineer Corps was fired at the Peliohet Bay range on Tuesday morning and resulted iv a win for the visiting team. The match was fired on Tuesday morning, and in the evening the Engineers were the guests of the local team, who did all in their power to make the visit an enjoyable one.
