DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB COMMITTEE

The monthly meeting of the D.J.O. Committee, held last eveiiiug, was attended by Messrs Hazlett (chairman), Fleming, Taggart, Miller, and Jleenan. 3IDST CLUB MEETING. Tho Programme Committee reported having issued the programme for the Hunt Club meetiDg on the Bth September, with at&kes amounting to £335.—Approved. APPOINTMENT OF STATiTER. MrH. Gourley, juu., was appointed starter for the Hunt Club meeting. TENDERS.

Tho Works Committee reported having accepted tenders for bulbed wire fencing to be pUeed oa tho top of the whole of the fence of the outer enclosure. —Adopted.

UNPAID FORFEIT LBIT. Upon the application of the Winton Club the following persons were placed on the forfeit list for entrance fees owing:—J. Timpany/s Dandeuong £i 10j and Reflection £6 as ; D. O'Keefe'a Hawthorne £1, Chevy 103 ; James Bridge's Biddy, £2; W. Sullivan's Young Rangi, £2 153; A. Macpherson's May Sole, £1 ! Is; J. A. Lawson's Hunt3mau £1 2s 6d, May Queen 10s; H. Telford's May King, 19». An application from the Cromwell Jockey Club being informal, it was resolved that when full particulars are sent in accordance with the c'.ub'a rules that the application be granted. _ The Secretary reported that Beveral nominators were in arrears with the D J.C., and it was resolved that if the amouuts were not paid before the next meeting of the committee that they ba placed on the forfeit list. TRAINING FEES. It was resolved that owners and trainers who had not paid their training fees be notified that they would not be allowed on the course after the 31st July.

GENTLEMEN RIDERS. The following were passed as gentlemen riders : — Messrs Rc-ynolds, Driver, H. J. Gonrley, Robert Coneja.

DIEQOALIFICATIOXS. Several applications wero received from disqualified bookmakers asking for the removal of the same.—lt was resolved that Mr Joseph Dixon's disqualification bo removed, and that consideration of the other applications D 3 deferred.

The Otago Hunt Club notify in our advertising columns the final runs for the ecason to bo at Half-way Bush to-morrow, and Waikoaaiti on Arbor Day. A London telegram gives the following as the result of the race for the Liverpool Cup : — Son-of-a-Gun 1, Bushey Park 2, Newourt 3 Our Cliristchurch correspondent teU^rajihs thai at KiccHrtii-u, Norton (ridden by Mr Gollan) and Cajolery were started for a twiceround'over the big fences, but Cajolery refused at the first sod wall. Norton went on, however, and jumped beautifully, and wns joined by Cajolery again about a mile from Home. Norton shaped all ov« like a National winner.
