'" The secretary of the Amalgamated Waipori Deep Lead Goldmining Company (Limited) has received the following telegram from the mine manager:—"Washed up on Monday for 4908 l'odwt6grgoUt" . Sir J Mouat, solicitor, has been appointed legal manager of the Phconix Water Race (registered), and the office of the company has been removed from Lawrence to Mr Mouat's chambers, No. 3 High street, Dnnedin. Mr Jabea Burton reports: —" The Roxburgh Gold Steam Dredging Company washed up on Saturday, 21st ihst. lSoa 13dwt 21gt gold> value £71 19s. The' EttricK Geld Eteim DredgiDg Company, for the week ending Saturday, 2tst, lOca 19dwt 9gr, value £43. is 6d."
