W. D. Stewart for plaintiffs); Charles Wedge v. Charles Johnson (Roslyn), £119s, for rates; Dunedin Importing Company v. James Johnston (Oamaru), £6 4s, for goods (Mr James for plaintiff); same v. Daniel O'Brien (Kaitangata), £17 9j lOd, balance due for goods (Mr James for plaintiffs); Six-mile Beach Dredging Company v. James Welman (Okarita), £50 lis 7d, for calls (Mr Cook for plaintiffs). Adams, on behalf of plaintiff, asked for an order in the absence of defendant.—An order was made for the payment of £3 di still due, with costs 15s, on the Ist of May, in default six days' imprisonment.' ■
