WRECK OF THE STEAMER RUBY.

Auckland. April 1. Tiio coastal steamer Ruby, of tho Hauraki Steam Shipping Company's fleet, was totally wrecked at Mauguwai bar, 30 miles north of Auckland, yesterday. A man and a boy were drowned, but the remainder of tho ere.v got ashore safely. Tho man's body has boon recovered. The sea was too high to permit of a search for that of tho boy. The namcii of the deceased are Smallwcod and Dawson.
