(Fjjom Our Own Corkespondent. ) CfiniSTCiiancH, November 3. A nice morniug, and Cutts commenced by Sending Kotuku once round afc a good working

pace. Awarua Rose covered a strong two miles, attended by Yon Tempsky over the last mile and a-quarter. Retina was sweated three times round and St. Cecilia cantered, while Westmere covered a circuit, fiuishing fast. Crown Jewel compassed a mile and a-half at top, accompanied by Au Revoir over a mile, and brought home by the General Thornton filly. The Ldchiel—Miss Russley filly did halfpace work and spurted, and Flinders, Launceston, and Captive did cantering exercise twice round. Taranna and Loyalty negotiated a circuit and finished up strongly, and both Strephon and Morion were given good mile work, as was also Merganser. Cynisca and Vivat each cauteced ence round, and Crackshot did half and three-quarter-pace work over twice that distance. Eriu-go-Bragh, Pennine, and Little Bun were spun out over a mile, and the Burlington colt cantered. Quadrant did steady work, and the Marquis of Tewkesbury went on the tan at half and three-quarter-pace twice round. Merrie Eugland accompanied Vogengaug in a half-pace gallop twice round, and The Lumper and Winchman were given half aud three-quarter-pace work over the samo journey, as was also Kulmne unattended. Mars had all the best of the sister to Cajolery in a top-speed half-mile gallop. Thame was given steady work, and Dilemma and Skirmisher were similarly exercised. Clauranald was given half-pace work and so were Diadem and Black Pearl, and Dora was given a strong five-furlong gallop. St. Hippo cantered once round and sweated very freely, and some good judges think ho has had "a gallop or two too much, lie was not spun out at Yaldhurst yesterday morning either. Cruchfield, Tournament, and Busybody were sent twice round at a steady pace, and the Bribery filly was galloped fast over the last half-niile of two circuits. Euplirosyne, the Dunlop colt-, and the Bis Bis filly were all cantered, and Liberty covered the same ground at a useful rate; while Shield and one two or others cantered.

The New Zealand Cup list will bo called over at Watsons-Hotel this evening, at 8.30. A Christchurch telegram states that the Bicycle Touring Club, at a largely attended meeting to-night, decided to secede from the Cyclists' Alliance and join the Cash Amateur Club.
