THE DUNEDIN RIFLE CLUB.
A handicap competition for the prize presented to the club by Messrs FerguEson and Mitchell was fired on Saturday afternoon, when there was an attendance of over 20 members and associates. An unsteady wind played havoc with most of the scores, especially at the longest range, the prize being eventually won by Mr A. Bl'Carthy with a score of 87 points. The ranges were 200, 500, and 600 yards, with seven shots at each distance. Appended are some of the scores :—
