Auckland, October 21. An elderly woman, Mary Ann Moore, was sentenced to 12 months' hard labour, as an idle and disorderly person at the Police Court today. A girl of 14 years deposed that prisoner met her late the previous night, and took her to a man, who seduced her. Prisoner took money iroia the man, and left the girl at a brothel. Ihe woman who kept the brothel sent for Detective Hughes and asked him to take the girl co ncr friends. The girl gave evidence in court, and wa3 then returned to her parents
