(Received September 30, at 11.30 a.m.) The House sat all night debating the. want-of-confidence'.motion.aud adjourned over breakfast. It is expected that the division will take place about noon.

(Received September 30, at 8.40 p.m.) The Legislative Assembly sat continueusly until 6 o'clock tonight. The amendment condemning the action of the Government iv placing LIOOO to Sir G. R. Dibbs' credit for his English tour was negatived by 82 to 52. The amendment moved by Mr Cann, member" for Broken Hill, condemning the action of the Government in regard to the strike, was also negatived by 99 to 37. The motion of censure moved by the leader of the Opposition was negatived by 68 to 64.' The Labour party voted with tho Opposition. The result was aunounced amid Government cheers and Opposition cries of " Resign ! "
