A special meeting of the Bo;ird of Governors of Canterbury College was held to-day to consider the report of the committee appointed some months ago to inquire into all the matters affecting the present management and wellbeing of the Christchurch Museum. After a lengthy discussion the bo:ird, by a majority of 13 to 5, adopted the recommendation of the committee that the curator, Mr H. 0. Forbes, should receive 12 months' notice of the termination of his engagement, or one year's salary in lieu of notice,
