(Received March 31, at 10.30 a.m.) The number of bales of wool sent forward direct to the manufacturing districts is 94,600. The total quantity available for this series is 355,600 bales. (Received March 31, at 7.30 p.m.) At the wool auctions there was good competition, and opening prices were maintained, crossbreds were slightly cheaper, and coarse sorts were at par to ls 3d per lb lower than the prices obtained last series.
