In the borough of North-East Valley 10 dwellings were erected in 1888, 4in 1889, 5 ;in 1890, and 4 in 1891. The other buildings were for. other purposes. The only building erected in the Borough of Maori Hill in 1890 was a fellmongery, and in 1891 a flock mill was erected in the borough. We are not in a position to give the number of buildings erected in the borough of West Harbour, the town clerk, to whom application was made on two or three occasions, expressing his inability to furnish us with the necessary information, although it is difficult to understand how this should be so, seeing that the clerks of the other boroughs have courteously supplied us with the figures for their respective boroughs.
