POST OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin (subject to any necessary alterations)as under: — For Northern Ports, overland, daily at 10.30 a.m., C.P.O. Late letters, mail van, North train, at 11 a.m. This Day (Thursday), March 24. For Southland, Australian Colonies (via Hobart), India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, <fee. per Tekapo, at 2.50 p.m. Money ordors (for Australian Colonies only), registered lotters, aiid newspapers, at 1.50 p.m. Late lotters, guard's van, Port train, at 3.35 p.m. Letters for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed Parcel post mails for the Australian Colonies (except New South Wales and Queensland) will close at 5 p.m. on the 23rd. The Richmond will leave Anckland for South Sea Islands on Thursday, 24th, at 5 p.m. The Ohau will" sail for Chatham Islands .from Auckland on Friday, 25th inst.
