LORD ONSLOW'S DEPARTURE.

Auckland, February 19. This afternoon Lord Onslow, who arrived to-day, was bidden farewell by the Masonic Community of the Grand Lodges of England, Ireland, and Scotland, at a special meeting in the Freemasons' Hall. Messrs Graham, M'Cullough, and others delivered addresses expressing regret that Lord Onslow was leaving. In reply, his Lordship said he esteemed very highly the rank which he had held in the Grand Lodge of England, and with the knowledge which he had gained during his term of office as Governor he would always retain the kindest recollections of the time he had spent in their bright and magnificent country. H&. spoke of the loss the Masonic craft had suffered throueh the death of the Duke of Clarence. \.
The weather promises" very unfavourably for to-morrow's racing at the Farewell meeting to his Excellency the Gsvernor.. Quadrant', is favourite for the Onslow Cup.
