The following is a summary of the reports to bo submitted at to-night's meeting of. the City Council :—

The Finance Committee recommend (1) that the application of Messrs E.C.Reynolds and Co D M. Spedding, and A. H neralP 01? mitJ cc recommended that the bathing hours fpr females using the Logan Point baths on Saturdays be fixed at from 11 f.m. to 2 p.m., mstead of, as formerly, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ihe committee recommend that some 20 applications for licenses to store kerosene be granted.-_*ie Fire Brigade. The committee reports that Superintendent Robertson has been instructed to see that all claims by members of the brigade under the accident insurance policy are made through, the town clerk's office. The committee has approved of an invitation being given on behalf of the City Fire Brigade to thi United Fire Brigade Association to hold the 1893 demonstration in Dunedin. The Gas Committee reports that the tender of Mr J. Rosenbacktofind labour for the painting of columns and railings of the telescope gasholder has been accepted.
