The coal export from Westport last week was 2669 tons. West Taieri farmers complain of the depredations of small birds. Mr S. F. Whitcombe, traffic manager of the Napier line of railways, has been promoted to the charge of the Invercargill district. The Waitahuna Gully School Committee have selected Mr A.
