Lowkb Wanaka.—Hanger M'Kenzle having valued the Improvements on section 2, blook V, Lower Wanalia dish-lot, the board was requested to recommend the section for notification at hchbli price of 13s 6d per aore.—Recommended for notification at 13>6d per acre, with valuation for Improvements to the amount of £14110i. Village Sbttlembnt. —The salesman suggested that seations 61 and 62, block XII, Lower Hawea district, berecommended for notification as ordinary village-settlement land, at a caih price of 16s per acre. —Recommended for notification as ordinary villagesettlement small farm allotments at 15s per acre. Glknomaeu.—Peter King's application to transfer perpetual lease sections 83 and 91, block VIII, Slenomaru district, to Alexander Adam was approved, subject to payment of arrears of rent due. Oatlihs,—James Thompson applied to transfer perpetual lease srctlon 50, block IV, Oatllns, to James Black, jun.—The transfer was approved, subject to payment of arrears of rent due, Bannockbuhn.—A. P. Kldland and W. Anderson wrote wquesting the board to reconsider their application to raise lignite on blook I, Bannookburn district.—License to iisue for five aores for two years at £1 per acre per annum, and £1 Is license fee; applicant to forward Bketch of area. Woodlamd. - William Hanning, sen., and others applied for a coal lioense over 1387 acres In block XI, Woodland diitrlct.—Mr Fraser appeared for Messrs Hanning and party, and aiktd that consideration of the application should Btand adjourned for three months, and also all other applications in connection therewith. He stated that prospeoting was being proceeded with, and Mr Hanning wanted further time to prospect.—The application by Mr Fraser was granted. Pbbpetual Leases.—The following perpetual lessees having paid all arrears, the board was atked to rescind the minute of forfeiture relating thereto :—Wm. Jobnston. section 5, block VI, Qlmmerburu district; Minnie Hore, 6eatton 13, block 111. Mnniototo district; and Hugh Boyd, sections 6 and 7, block X, Mount Hyde district.-The rtqueßt in each case waß granted. Kykbuek.—Arcbd. Leckie applied for a lioense to raise lignite over two aores of blook V, Kyeburn district.—License to issue for two acres applied for for three years at JBI per aore per annum, with £1 Is license fee. Small Grazing Runs.—The board considered plan of small grazing runs in Nenlhorn, Hummock, and Silver Peak districts, aud approved of same. The Perpetual Trustees, Estate, and Agenoy Co. requested the board to postpone advertising the small grazing runs lately Burveyed in Nenthorn, seotious 17 and 20, block 111, Nenthorn, comprising together 822 aores, to be grouped and recommended for notification at 12* 6d per aare, and seation 23, block 111, Nenthorn (846 acres), to ba recommended for notification at 12s 6d per acre, it bsing too late to make any further alteration In plans. Wabkpa.—Mr Hugh Cameron wrote with reference to the forfeiture of hla perpetual leaße, section 27, block IX, Warepa district.—lt was resolved that Mr Oameron be informed that if the [present areas are paid within one month from date the board would rosoind forfeiture, and he would receive benefit ot revaluations; otherwise this would be lost, and the forfeiture would hold good Application foii Kkcision ot- Fobi'biturk.—A memo, was received from the Receiver of Land Revenue atatlng that on April 8 last the board deolared Maurioe Ourran's deferred payment license over section 17, block V, Lower Hawea, forfeited for non-payment of arrears of interest. As these arrears hnd been paid on the 15th lust,, and tha lessee was a struggling settler in a very out of the way district, he hoped the board might see their way to resoind the minute of forfeiture.—lt was resolved that the rtßolution of April 8. so far aa it applied to the forfeiture of the Bectlou in question, be rescinded.
