The barque Camana, from Liverpool, via WelliDgton, for this port waß spoken by the barque Ashmore, from London to Adelaide, on April 4, in lat. 10 7 S., long. 28.50 W. The Camana Is 140 days out from .Liverpool, and should soon put in appearance.

AEEIVAL OF THE MOEAYSHIBB. "Tbe Morayßhire, one of the Shire lice of steamers, sarrived off Taiaroa Heads early yesterday morning, from London, via Las Palmaß and Sydney, when .she was boarded by Pilot M'Donald, and kept under •easy steam until 9 30 a.m., when >he steamed inside the heads and was met in the lower harbour by the -Customs boat, and all being well, continued her ■course, berthing alongside the George street pier at 10.30 a.m.. when she at once commenced to discharge her cargo for this port into the railway trucks, which consißts of some 1000 tons, the remainder of her cargo being for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, she having discharged 1412 tons of cargo at Sydney. The Morayshire's passage -from London to Sydney was marked by some very heavy weather, bnt she comes into port in splendid order. She Is still nnder tbe command of Captain B. Coull, but since her last visit to this port there haß been a slight change In the personnel of her -officers. MrEobtonflateof the Fifeshire) is now chief officer, In place of Mr Duncan. Messrs Wallace and M'Kenzfe retain their positions as second and third, and Mr Molllion comes as fourth. Mr Millar still occupie* bis old position as chief steward, and the ■engine department Is under the charge of Mr Small. The Morayshire left the docks on April 25, and anchored at Gravesend, where she took on board a j ><jQantlty of gunpowder, and left at 11,45 p.m. ; I •experienced moderate winds and fine weather to arrival at Las Palmaß at 10.12 a.m. on May 2; coaled and left again at 10.35 p.m. with a moderate northerly >breeze, which merged into the N.B. trades.whioh were light and were followed by variable winds; croiaed the equator on May 9 in long. 12 W., took the S.B. trade on the following d*y in lat. 1.17 S ; it gave out on May 18 in lat. 20.18 S., having crossed the meridian tfreahwlndß with ocoasional gales from S.S.W., with tilgh S.W. swell; rounded the Cape of Good Hope on May 21 in 1at.3653 S.,when she met strong N.W. to W.N.W. winds, with a high cross sea for 24 hours, succeeded by moderate N.W. and westerly winds until June 8; ft strong westerly gale then set in, veering to the N.E., with very high cross sea, causing tbe vessel to toll heavily and ship large quantities of water; tbe gale continued until the 7th; »he crossed the meridian of Caps Leuwin in latitude 47.8 3.; moderate N.W. to N.N.B. winds prevailed until the 12th, when the wind freshened from the N.N.B. with a very heavy Bea, earning the vessel to roll and labour heavily and to ship large quantities of water, but fortunately doing no damage. The gale held until the 14tb, and was followed by light N.B. winds to arrival off Sydney Heads at 10.30 p.m. on the 15th, and anchored until tbe following morning, when she steamed into port arid anchored off Garden Island to discharge her combustibles, and was berthed at the wharf at 7.30 am. on the 17th; discharged cargo and left again at 4.30 p m. on the 27th nit., with a light N.W. breeze, attended by a high head sea until tbe following mornlntr, when the wind veered to N.E. with high sea and heavy rain, which held until the lit Inst.; thence had N. and 8.N.8. winds, and breasted the Solanders at noon on the 2nd and Oentre Island at 3.40 pm. same day, and arrived alongside the wharf as above.
