Takapuna arrived noon from Lyt-teNolsou-Kof.orua arrived 930 a.m. from WeiIlngton; Bailed U a.m. from VM°n- n ... ._, Grreymouth—Kawatiri arrived from Wellington. Russell-Pukaki arrived from Auckland. Syduev—Taieri sailed 9 a.m. for Weßtport. Melbourne-Manaponri sailed 4 p.m. Wedneiday lor Bluff. The 8 » Hauroto, Captain H. Neville, from Melbourne, via Hobart and ths Bluff, arrived at Port Ohilmers at 7 30 a.m. to-day aud landed a quantity of sacks of bark at the Bowen pier. Mr Seigel (her purser) reports leaving Melbourne wharf at 2 p.m. Sn the 2nd mot., cleared Williamstown at 4.60 p.m. and Port Phillip Head* at 8 p.m.; experienced fine weather with smooth ssa to Swan ißiand, thence stroDK southerly winds with heavy head sea to arrival at Hobart at 4 p m. on tho 4th and left again at & 20 p.m. ou the 6_; hud strouK S.W. wind with hl K h »ea and cloudy weather across; breasted Puysccur Point at 6 30 p.m. ou the 9th, and arrived at the Bluff at Bam on the 10th; left again at 5 p.m. Bame day; had moderate S.W. winds and sea along the ooaat. arriving as above. The s ». Beautiful Star steamed down from Dunedin on Wednesday evening and took on board a quantity of transhipments from the Tarawera at the Georce street pier yesterday. The s s. Matatua steamed down to Port Chalmers yesterday morning to complete loading for London. The ss. Kapler left the Rattray street wharf yesterday for Fortrose aDd Waikana. The B.s. Ohau loft the Itat.tray street wharf yesterday for Auckland, via the Bast Coaat. The 6 s Omapere, with passengers and cargo from the Weßt Coast, arrived at the Kattray Btreet wharf at 10 a m. yesterday. She left Westport »t 10 30 p.m. of the sth inst., passed Farewell Spit at 10.30 a.m. of the 6th. arrived at Nelson at 3.30 p.m.. left again at 7 n m same day, and arrived at Wellington at 8.15 am. of the 7thi left for the loulh at 10.20 a.m , and reached Lyttelton at 7 a m.of the Blh mßt.; left again at 3 p.m. of tho 9th inßt., called at Akaroa and Timaru, and reached headquarters as above. She experienced a heavy S.B. swell along the coait.
