NEWS, GOSSIP, AND ADS

Roller skating this evening at the City Hall Barah Flanagan, who with her mother is under sentenoe for child murder, has had to be removed to hospital quarters from Lyttelton gaol, having contracted a lung complaint. Mr Franoia L. Ciarke sustained a fracture of the left leg yesterday morning through a kick from a horse. The sufferer was removed to the hospital, where he was attended to by Dr Coughtrey. Dear me! Ib happened to be the Bungalow Blend, No. 1 strength. | On Wednesday evening Mr D. B. Between 30 and 40 gentlemen attended the opening lecture of the St. John Ambulance Association, held last evening at the Central Fire Brigade Station.
