T. Donlan v. R. Gregg and Co.—Claim £50, for cartage. In tan previously-heard case judgment was given for defendants, foe whom Mr A. S. Adams appeared. D. BeDJamin snd Co. v. George Kaopp (Hokitika).—Claim £7 8s Id, on a bill. Judgment by default. A. J. Kierle v. William Brown.—Claim £2 10a, for four parts of "Brott'B Eirly History of New Zealand." Mr Sim appeared for plaintiff, for whom judgment was given by default.

Same v. William Wheeler (similar claim). — Defendant stated that he was almost certain'he did nob sign the order produced. He signed something, hut he understood that he need not Uke tha book unless ha chose to rio so. Ho was not in a position to tako the book. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Same v. Charles Price.—After hewing the livMenee, plaintiff was nonsuited on the grounds of. insufficient evidence of delivery. William Angell v. J. G. Do Rauzy.—Claim £21 3a 4d, for goods supplied, Mr Calv^rt appeared for plaintiff, and Mr W. Macgregor for defendant. After occupying the attention of the court for some considerable time the further heariog of the case was adjourned till Monday next-.
