He had addressed the meeting a quarter of an hoar before, and seemed in good I health. Westpokt, June 10. B. W. White, a shunter on the railway, was killed this after.-.oon. He slipped and a train went over him. He leaves a wife and family at Winton, He came here during the strike. Auckland, Juno 10. Mr Holmea, a painter, .died suddenly at Aratapu. The post mortem examination showed that he had diseased lungs, and had burst a blood vessel.
