NOW, WHY IS IT.

That after 5000 years of study and practice '. physicians are still nnable to cure such common ailments as Dyspepsia, Indigestion, Kidney and Liver troubles, &c.! Common sense convinces one that something must bo wrong. Other branches ol science, surgery, i dentistry, &c, have achieved wonderful results, while medicino still remains to a great extent an experiment, for a latter-day example of which we have only to look to Dr Koch's alleged consumptive cure. Thinking people are exclaiming: " Why all these injurious drugs 1 Why all these large bills and yet no -cure? Surely the doctor ought to relieve rao after his 5000 years of profound study. Can it bo he is still groping in the dark ? Let us take an illustration : Here is an ordinary headache, known to the doctor since Adam's time, and yet, what physician can cure it ? Now, if a physician, after all the knowledge his profession has acquired in 5000 years, cannot cure a simple headache, how can he undertake to cure the more serious disorders which affect the human family? In 12 months how much do you spend for medicines? How much do you pay your doctor? And yet no cure!
