Official j [sits were received from the District Executive \ nd Courts Pride of Dunedin and Pride of the ■eitfa, and there were also brothers present from 'ourts Enterprise and Bruce. The toast " The lealth of the District Executive and Visitors " ibs given with Foresters' fire, and was responded o by D.S.O.E, Bro. Glover (for District Execuive), C.R. Bro. A. Wilson (Court Pride of Dandin), S.C.R. Bro. Gillies (Court Enterprise), '.C.R. Bro. Butler (Court Bruce), C.R. Bro. Irangrove (Couit Pride of the Leith). The Cargill Road Mutual Improvement Class net, as usual, on Wednesday evening. The ice-president (Mr W. R. Cole) presided, and md there was a large attendance. Miss Palmer cad an excellent paper on " Jewish Sects," the iriticism of which was opened by Miss Rainsiorth and Mr S. Bridgman. There was a large attendance of members and Friends at the usual meeting of the John street CJaversham Mutual Improvement Class, held on rhursday evening. The president (Rev. J. T. Hint on) occupied the chair. The first number at ths society's journal—The 31ow-worm wa3 read by Mr S. Earland.
