Daily 'limes Office, Friday evening, amount of customs revenue collected to-day on goods cleared for consumption was £158011s Id. The number of bagß of grain and produce received at tbe Dunedin railway stations on the 16th and 17th Inst., was as follows:— -

CHRISTOHURCH CORN EXCHANGE. The following Is the Corn Exchange report (per H. P. Meyers, secretary) for week ending Friday, Business in wheat continues brisk aud quotations remain firm at late advances. Now that wheat has reached present prices, we would ask our farmer •frlendß to consider whether it is to their mteiesto to Bell now or take the risk of holding. Cnickwheat is much Inquired for, aßd many parcels of milling wheat have changed handß, especially in the Ashbur4on districts. In oats nothing is doing. Barley: Only prime lines demand attention. Beans are taken for Bhipment at quotations. Peas dull of Bale, ■the only variety in demand being blue Prussians. Potatoes: Considerable sales have been made of ■b'ue Derwents for delivery when ripe off •the forks, on a basis of 37s to 40s per ton (f.o.b Lyttelton, Backs in). Our prices «re »s follows:—Wheat: Tuscan, 3s lid to 4s; pearl, 3s 9d to 3s 10di Hunter's, 3s Bd. Oats: MllIiBK, Is 8d; short [feed, Is 6d j inferior and discoloured, 1b 3d tolls 4i. Barley: Malting, 3s 3d; feed, Is 8d to Is lod. Beam, 2s Sd to Is 6d. Peas': Sine Prussians, (boilers 3s; feed, 2s 4d to. Potatoes: Derwents, 37s to 40s (f.0.b., Lyttelton sacks in). Butter: Fresh and factory make, 8d to lid; farmers' waited 6d to 7d. Cheese: Small loaf, 4Jd ; larger ■size, 3jd to 4d, The above prices are ihoße paid tto farmers for delivery f.o.b. Lyttelton, sacks extra.
