E'iii, —There is a nuisance which has been endured long enough—namely, the smoke and dust from Reid and Gray's foundry chimney blowing up and around Fernhill street. On

washing days white clothes hive sometimes to be washed over a second time on account of tho light blacksoot that blows on to them. I think it is high time to have some remedy for this, by causing the smoke to be consumed in sonce way.
