MASONIC.

Wellington, Fobruary 17.
At a meeting of fche members of Wellington Lodge to consider tho letter of the Earl of Onslow, P.G.W. of tho Graad Lodge of Eugland, on the present position of Masonry in New Zealand in connection with the New Zealand Grand Lodge, the following resolution was carried:—" That tho letter of Brothor the Bail of Onslow be received, and that be be respectfully informed thafc while the Wellington Lodge has no present intention of severing from the Grand Lodge of Eugland, the brethren nevertheless fully share the regret expressed by his Excellency afc the dissensions now unfortunately existing among Freemasons iv the colony, and would be glad to hear of any plan for their removal." Tho latter portion of the motion is in reference to that part of his Excellency's letter which stated that he had a plan for ending the trouble if the lodges were agreeable to his formulating it.
