THE RAINFALL AT BIG BAY.
Mr Robert Paulin, of St. Clair, forwards us the following notes of the rainfall measured at Big Bay, West Coast: —
In November, 1890, over 23in fell, the details of which have already been published. The particulars of the rainfall in December and January are the following:— December. January. Date. Inches. In January the rain fell in falls i of a few hours' duration, and there were only j three days which could ba called wet, 22 days i being very fine. Most of the rain fell between 1 sunset and sunrise. >
