CITY LICENSING COMMITTEE
The next quarterly sitting of the Licensing Conrt will be held on Friday, the 6th prox. Tho only business will bo consideration of the following applications foe transfers of. publicans' licenses: — Prince of Wales Hotel, Princes street.—Alfred Short to William K. Doyle. ! Auld Scotland Hotel, Stuart street.—Andrew Smith to John M. Shearer. Apollo Hotel, Maitland street.—Georga X, West to Harry Dunn. ~ ■ Caledonia Hotel, King stree.t—John M, Shearer to J. W. Cummiuga. Great Northern Hotel, King street.—James Cummings to Joseph Toomey. ' Wharf Hotel, Rattray street.—Benjamin Bern to William Pacey. ; The election of a licensing bench for the Dunedin district for the ensuing three years will take ' place on Friday, April 17, and on the same date ratepayers will be asked to determine whether there shall be an increase of licenses or not during the same period.
