Mobitzson and Hopkin, grain, produce, and commission agents, Manse Btreet, Dunediu, report, (wholesale) for the week ending September 24, as follows :— Wheat: Market firmer, Bnd rising. Bost milling Tuscans velvets, 3s lOd to 3s lld; other good milling sorts, 3s 6d to 3s Bd. Fowls' xvheat i Good whole (scarce, aud pricea firm), from 3s to 3s 2d; broken and inferior, 2s 8d to 2s 101. Barley: Only first class malting lots are inquired alter, at from 2s 8d to 3s; milling. 2s 4d to 2s Gd; feed. Is 9d to 2s. Pearl b .rley, £16 to £16. Oats: Bright plump feed, la 3§d to 18 4d; best milling, la 4d to la sd; off colour and inferior, ls Id to Is 2d. Onions, £8 to £10. Hops, 9d to KM. Four: Oamaru aud Timaru roller, £10 f.o.b. £10 5s hero, and £11 for 50's; stono flour, £9 os, and 50' a £9155. Oatmeal: In 25's £3 10s ; bulk,£B. Bran, £2 10s; sharps, £3 10s (this ia a decline of 106 per tou each). Potatoes: Oamaru and Southern came freely to lp.nd and aold at £2 17{i 6d ; Derwent seed (nominally), £3. Pigs: Well fed up to 1601b, up to 3|d. Chaff: Clean heavy, £2 to £2 2s 6d; light, 35s to 37s 6d. Turnips, 14s to 16s. Carrots, 30b. Straw, oaten and wheaten, 30s to 355. Hay, oaten, £2. Clover and ryegrass hay, £3 ss. Butter: Best *alt scarce, but has no inquiry; fresh, plentiful. Eggs, plentiful, Honey, 4d to sd. Cheeße: Good cheese Bcarce; factory, 4d; Akaroa, 3§d. Hamß and bacon (no demand), 7dtoßd and 5d to 6d. Grass Beeda: lircgrass, 3s 6d to 6s; cocksfoot, 4d to sd;_seconds, 3d. Clovers, turnip, and rape 6eods on application. '.
