Although (doubtlbbb owing to the labour troubles) the attendance at our weekly produce Bale was much smaller than usual, prloes were quite up to previous quotations Poultry Bold well. Hons, 2s 5d to 3s 8d: cooks, 3s 2d to 3s sd; turkeys, 7s 6d to 12s 6d; ducks, 4s to ss; geese, 78. Oats, dull good feed, up to Is 4d; Derwents. Sso to 655; kidneys, 30s to 40s; onions, £14. Eggs plentiful; bacon, 5d to Od; hams, 6M to 7Jd ; lard. 3*d. Prime pigs up to 1101b, 3Jd, heavier weights 3d. Sydney oranges, 10s: Hobart apples, 9s to 14s.
BABBIT AND SHEEPSKINS AND HIDE 3. Best winter greys, I7d; do blacks, 13§d; off season proportionately lower; sheepskins, dry merinos, Is 6d to 4s; do orossbreds up to ss; hides, ]£d to ljd.
