(Eeoelved July 20, at 10.25 a.m.) For the second day's racing of the V.R.C.'s Winter meeting to-day fine weather was enjoyed, and there was a good attendance. Results:— Second Hurdle. About 2 miles.—Vanish, 9.12, lj Donald, 10.7, 2; Africanus, 9.11, 3. Fifteen otheri started. Betting: sto 2agst Zingara, 7to 2 agst Donald, 8 to 1 agst Cross Rail and Blierslie, 10 to 1 the others. Ulysses wos the first away, but came . a cropper at the fir^t hurdle, which was also fatal to Cross Kail. Vanish then tcok up the running, and despite the vigorous riding of liae on Donald he maintained liis advantage to the finish, winning easily. Time, 3min 50aeo. Louse Handicap. Six furlongs — Bendigo, 8.0,1; Collish Kouch, 6.12, 2; Little Bob, 3. Twenty-six others started, Betting: 3to 1 Kgst Bendigo. 4to 1 aust Midas, 7 to 1 agst Fishwife, 10 to 1 agst Blizzard and Little Bob, 12 to 1 Ernest. Little Bob led till crossing the tan, when Bendigo drew up, and at the distance was ia front, eventually winning by a length fromCollish Rouen, whocameaway fast at the finish. Time, lrain 19sec. Grand National Steeplechase;. About three miles,—Fearless 11, 99, 1; Titokowaru, 11.9, 2; Mabdi, 11.0, 3. Fiftfen others started. Liwler, wont away with the lead, but on passing the abattoirs the first time Fearless II had assumed command, with Native second; then followed Studk.y, Shanks, Mahdi, Tilukowarn, I'lishlight, Messenger, andPrideoftheHillsintheordermeniioned. Paving down the straight Fearless II leJ by a length, which he increased to four lengths as the abattoirs were left b2hind for the second time. Coming into the straight, where Shanks fell, Fearless was 15 lengths aheud of Mahdi and Titoliowaru, who wore racing together a few lengths ahead of Native and Lawler. Fearless incieaacd his lead down the straight and won by 20 lengths' from Titokowaru, who was four lengths ahead of Mahdi. Time, 7min. Final Handicap. Onejmlle.-Gnaroo.l; Precedence, 2; Ernest, 3. Open Steeplechase.—Kenmark, 1; Orangeman, 2 ; Saxon, 3.

A Melbourne cablegram states that the Waterloo Cup, run at Moonee Valley on Friday, was won by Referee. The Plate was divided between Double or Quits and Rent Day, and Waratah carried off the Purse.
