Sin, —A paragraph appeared in your evening contemporary stating' that "tho whaif carters and expressmen had decided to go out on strike on the Ist prox. unlesa certain concessions are made by their employers." In tonight's issue of the same paper there is a letter signed Henry Carnio contradicting the previous statement. Mr Carnia is president of tho Carters', Expressmen's, and Storemen's Union, and to give hia contradiction its proper weight ha should have subscribed himself aj such—l am. "to., March 20. H. Chust.
