The Caversham Baud performed the following selections in the Early History court last evening:—March, "Yes, let me like a soldier fall" (Wallace); waltz, "Ever faithful" (Ne.vcorobe); selection, "Bohemian Girl" (Balfe); quadrille, "Jubilee" (Williams); overture, '■bybil (Smith); waltz, "Beautiful Loch Lomond" (Round).

The spelling bee, which is to ha held this evening in tho concert hall, promises to ba a marked success. After a long spell, extending overscveral years, this mode of publicly educating, while at thoEarne time amusing, the masses has be«ti brought forward as a uhaago from the musical programmes and other descriptions of eutertainineut provided by the commissioners.
