(Fkb United ! jeess Association.) CniiiSTcncncn, March 20. The annual Canterbury ram fair held to-day was very successful. In consequenco of the dryness of tho season tho prices realised wore not up to the usual standard, but a largo proportion of rams were sold at good average price?. Best quality Lincoln rams sold at llgs to 50gs, and English Leicester from 3gs to Bgs. A large number of Border Leicester rams found considerable favour with buyers, eomo of them fetching up to 15g3 each- sgs bang the general figure. Merino rams sold at a disadvantage, buyers of that class of stock being absent. Xhe sale of ewes was very limited.
