The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 13th in-t.:—" Wheat market inactive. New Zealand wheat average is worth 34? per 4951b ; long-berried, 3:s lid; and wheat to arrive, January-February bill of lading, is worth 33s lid per 4fiolb." Mr n. B. Martin reports having sold privately today villa residence at Waitati, with 18 acres of land and outbuildings, lieing part of section 8, block I, Nortli Harbonrand Blueukin district, and sections 1 and 3, block XIII, town of Blueskin.at a satiefactorr figure. MB3sra Nel=on Bros. (Limited) have received the following cablegram from their London house:— " Meat market steady. Best quality, 4Jd. Beef: Hindquarters, 4jdj forequarters, ;i|d."
