CONSTABLES' EXAMINATION

Wellington, February 20.
The following is a list of constable' who passed the first examination under the new police regulations:—A. H. Wright, J. O'Donovan, F. L. Bradshaw, W. Silliard, D. Bogue, W. Foley, T. Nestor, J. Treanor, J. Johnston, W. Lewis, A. E. Reiner, W. Smart, A. Morgan, S. P. Norwood, J. D Leece, P.. M'Lellan, D. Gordon, F. M'Donovan, F. Costiu, J. Dongan, J. Hayes, W. Williams, M. Leahy, J. Ryan. Wright, who comes from Southland, passed an extremely creditable examination, securing 179 marks out of a possible 200.
