Dear Sir,—ln reply to your Inquiries on the subjeot of the Acme Cohbuoatkd Batten, I may say that I have adopted and used it in fixing corrugated iron on tneroofß of buildings lately erected in thiß city under my supervision as arohitect. I find it to be an eminently useful invention, fulfilling all that is claimed for it by the inventor in the printed circular forwarded to me. I oonsider that now the Batten is available, no good building should be roofed with corrugated iron without üßlng it, as the slight extra cost is more than compensated by the many and Important advantages secured thereby.—l am, &c, P.
