It was expected for weeks before the jury was selected in the Cronin murder case that every juror would be challenged. FIVE-MILE BICYCLE RACE. In a five-mile bicycle race at the Maida Vale ground, Paddington, James beat W. Wood, covering the distance in 15min 37f sec. THE RAID ON A CLUB.
