[By Eleotiiic Tblegkaph.—Coitbight.] (Pee Press Association.) London, July 23. (Received July 21. at 9 p.m.) A fine collection of British pictures will be shipped by the R M.S. Rimntaka for exhibition at the New Zealand Exhibition, held in Dunedin.

The total number of applications from Christchurch for space in the exhibition, including the fine arts section, is 66, requiring 7337 square feet of floor space, aud 44 square feet of wall space. The intended exhibits are of a very varied description, comprising agricultural and other machinery, agricultural implements, fire clay goods, stones, coal, timber, traction aud Btationary engines, pumps, cooking ranges, nails, bicycles, saddles, sewing machines, boots and shoes, G-ihing tackle, pianos and an organ, photographs and photographic requisites, electric appliances, seeds, paper bags, beer, malt, pickles, sauces and presorves, teas, confectionery, and ladies' fancy goods.
