THE TARAWERA'S EXCURSION TO THE SOUNDS.
The annual excursions to the West Coast sounds, arranged by the Union Steamship Company, are, if anything, gaining in popularity. This is the 12th season of these enjoyable excursions, and over 100 persons left Port Chalmers on the JCth iusfr. by (lie Taravera ou her first trip. She returns on the morning of the 26tb, and leaves again on the same alternoou for the second excursion.
