Mails for the United Kingdom, &o. will closo hero •an Weduesday, 23rd, at 1.50 p.m. Late letters, guard's van, Port train, at 2.30 p.m. Correspondence .intended to bo despatched by the Ruapehu must be specially addressed. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Roto■mahana, at l.'sO p.m. (Connects with the Riuga-s-ooma at Auckland for Sydney). Late letters, O.P.U;, *t 4.3G p.m. Friday, January 25. For Southland, Australian Colonies, India, China, Japan, Coutlnout of Europe, United Kingdom, &c, per Walhora, st 3 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only),"registered letters, and newspapers at 2 p.m. Late letters, guard's vau, Poil Chalmers train, at 3.30 p.m. Letters for the United Kingdom must be specially addressed, and paid Is per Joz.
3A.N KKANtUSCO MAIL SERVICE. For Northern ports of New Zealand, the United Kingdom,'.id San Francisco, Continent of Europn, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, &c, at 5 a.m. Registered correspondence at 5 p.m. on Thursday, 24th.
Money orders at 4 p.m. on the 21th. Book packets and newspapers at 9 p.m. on the 31 fch.
Late letters, bearing an additional single rate of postage (6d) as a late fee, can be posted In the mail van attached to the North train, leaving Duuediu Kailway station at 8.5 a.m. on Friday, 25th. The above mail will close for newspapers at the branch post office, Duuedin North, at B p.m., money orders at 4 p.m., registered letters nt 5 p.m. on the 24th; and for letters at 5 a.m. on the 25th. At the South Dunedin office, for newspapers at 8 p.m., money orders at 4 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 24th, and for letters at 5 a.m. on the 25t,h. At the Port Chalmers office at 8 a.m. on the 25th ; money orders at 4 pm., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 24th.
The above mail will be due in London on 4th March.
Parcels for despatch under the foreign parcels post system will be received at any post office.
