Our readers will notice in our advertising columns that the annual meeting of the subscribers of the Athenteum will be held on Monday evening, the 2Sth mat., at 8 o'clock, in the lower hall. , Messrs E. C. Reynolds and Co. will sell magic lanterns, microscopes, &c. on Friday. Messrs James Samson and Co. will Bell household furniture to-day. Messrs Reid, Maclean, and Co. will sell steers at Burnside to-day. MrH.-M. Driver will sell sheep, cattle, and horses at Balclutha on Friday. We have to acknowledge receipt of the Colonial Insurance Company's caleudar from Messrs Royse, Smith, and Co., local agents. The valuation lists for the several wards of Roslyn borough are now open for inspection. Au excursion train from Dunedin will be run on the 30th inst., taking passengers to the Tuapeka races.
