CIVIL SITTINGS. Friday, January 18. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Williams.) MAYOR AND CORPORATION OF THE IJOROUOII OF SOUTH DUSEDIN V. KKTTLK AND WOODHOUSK. Uaira i.424, rent and rates alleged to be due. ilu. hearing of this case was resumed, Sir R. Scout appearing for the plaintiffs, and Mr D(mnistou for defendants. Thomas Brown was recalled, and plaintiffs' case was then closed. For the defence Mr Denniston called C. C. Kettle and John F. Woodhouse, the defendants. Counsel on either side addressed the court, after which ' _ His Honor intimated that he would go through tho. documents and reserve judgment. The court adjourned at 3.30 p.m. until Tuesday next.
