INDECENCY AT ST. CLAIR. TO THE EDITOR.
Sin,—l wish to bring under the notieo of the proper authorities the disgraceful practice indulged in by lads of about 15 or 16 years of ago bathing in St. Olair baths without a shred of clothing, uid in full viow of crowds of women »ud young girls constantly passing along the upper road Has immorality reached such a pass in this our fair city, that such indecency is allowed to go on unchallenged iv the full blaze of day ? Where are the memhsrs of the White Cross Society? Surely this Is work for them. Arc the mindti of our young girls lure to bo polluted by such splits until rice reaches tho climax it has iv one of our Northern citie6, where, I »tn told, according to recent atatiatics, there, are 500 girls under the age of 14 years on the streots ? Who is to blame for this ? Wo want Mr Stoad, or a kindred spirit hero, to iuouire into such matters. —I am, &c., Motueh.
